The problem with house-styles
As bespoke tailors, we are responsible for creating garments that are based on you instead of creating a 'you' that is based on us! House-styles are standard templates and unrelated to you.
But finding your style can be challenging;
-
Your garments have to fit
-
They must complement your physical features and communicate your mood
-
The colours must be right
-
The details must be appropriate
Our work is founded on extreme personalisation. Your garments are designed and handmade in our (currently small) atelier in London. We are committed to the smallest detail to create meaningful garments that last long and make you feel good.
Recommending the right fabric begins with first understanding which colours complement your natural skin, eye and hair colour.
What's your theme?
Life is a collection of moments and your garments are like photographs; snapshots of who you are and where you've been. They take you back in time and remind you of a story.
That day in the park...
That night on the train...
That perfect winter morning...
We create your garments with this idea in mind. Each suit is made to be an extension of you, your ideals and your dreams.
The jacket above follows the story of speed and adventure. Inspired by the love for classic cars and the endless American desert roads. Pure driving pleasure. Sports jacket starting at £4800 excl. vat.
How we use our technical expertise to serve your needs
-
Ingredients that are unique to you
We only recommend colours, materials and styles that express who you are and how you want to be perceived. We never recommend 'best selling' fabrics just because they are popular. Neither do we recommend structured shoulders just because we like to make them. Each ingredient must align with your personality.
-
A timeless fit that complements your physique
Before adding style, we establish a classic fit. This means that your garment hangs properly and allows room for your specific body movements. The result is a comfortable garment with an aesthetic appeal.
-
Made to last and worn with joy
We design lasting garments by considering your practical needs. Example: public speakers often use their arms when speaking. This creases their sleeves. Knowing this, we can reinforce the sleeve seams and reduce creases by recommending crease-resistant fabrics and interlinings.
Are there areas in your garments that loose shape or wear out? Or areas where you always feel discomfort? Let us know and we'll take care of it for you by recommending the right 'cut and make'.
Above: the sleeve is removed to inspect the armhole depth as its affected by the material thickness of what's worn underneath the suit. Below: the fall of the collar is lifted to confirm the height of the neck circle.
